Posting Limits, Requirements and More

Posting is the very basis of these role playing sites, and if not managed properly can lead to things of the "OP" and "God-Mod" variety, but those we will get into later when we discuss them. The posting requirements and limits aren't that major due to the fact that a lot of "multi-counting" will be used. They do come into affect later however with ranking up and getting more jutsus.

Requirements for every single post that you do are as follows:
  • Must be over 150 words
  • Must have grammar and spelling checked
  • Must acknowledge the actions of the other players in some way.
  • A limit of 4 jutsus per post can be used
  • No matter how the jutsu is used, you must copy and paste it into a spoiler at the end of your topic, basic jutsu (Academy Jutsu) does not need to be pasted.
    Code:
    [spoiler]JUTSU GOES HERE[/spoiler]
These are the basic requirements. However the requirements change when things are added to the topic, we won't get into that, but you'll see when you go into other battles.

Limits of posting aren't really major in the list of rules but are a necessity. The limits for posting are TWO TOPIC LIMIT, MUST BE IN SAME VILLAGE. The reason for the village annotation is because your character can't be in Sunagakure and get injured and then is in his home village in the hospital. It allows characters to work around the cracks. Clones, however, are allowed in other villages.

Jutsu and Their Respective Limits and More

Jutsu is one of the main things that this site, and other Naruto sites, will use to fight and to "declare order" if you will. Below you will see the main types of jutsu and a description about them. The ones in "white" will be open and allowed without debate the ones in "red" will have to be discussed before use. I did not include a description of the banned styles of jutsu such as Senjutsu, and Juinjutsu. This allows the site that to have some nerfing on what is and what isn't allowed.
Only 5 S Rank Jutsus for Kages, or S Ranked Leaders.
Only 3 S Ranks for S Ranked Jounins and S Ranked Shinobi
Only 1 S Rank for any A Rank Shinobi

(Please note, that all definitions are copy and pasted from naruto.wikia.com and are roughly editted to fit our site more promptly.)

Ninjutsu

Ninjutsu (忍術; Literally meaning "Ninja Techniques") refers to any technique that utilizes chakra and allows the user to perform actions that a normal person otherwise would be incapable of doing. Unlike genjutsu, which causes the opponent to experience illusions, the effects of ninjutsu are real. Ninjutsu relies on chakra and, most of the time, hand seals to be effective.

Genjutsu

Genjutsu (幻術; Literally meaning "Illusionary Techniques") are techniques that are employed in the same fashion as ninjutsu, requiring chakra and hand seals. However, the primary difference between the two is that the effects of genjutsu are illusory; instead of attacking the victim's body, genjutsu techniques manipulate the flow of chakra in the victim's brain, thus causing a disruption in their senses.
This is often used to create false images or to cause pain from trauma (because the body is led to believe it is in pain); however, there are plenty of other uses depending on the situation.

Taijutsu

Taijutsu (体術; Literally meaning "Body Techniques") is a basic form of jutsu that typically does not require chakra, but chakra may be used to enhance techniques. Taijutsu generally require no hand seals to perform and are much quicker to use than ninjutsu or genjutsu. Taijutsu is simply put, hand-to-hand combat, or weaponry.

Bushinjutsu

Bunshinjutsu (分身術; Literally meaning "Clone Techniques") are techniques that create a copy of the user or objects used by them. The standard Clone Technique is considered the most basic of basic ninjutsu. Despite this, bunshinjutsu are very versatile and useful, and are often used to distract or fool enemies into thinking that they have delivered a critical or fatal hit to the user, leaving the enemy vulnerable. The various villages have created their own characteristic forms of bunshinjutsu. Besides these, there are a dozens of other bunshinjutsu in existence, some of which are extraordinarily difficult to use.
There are various methods of creating clones. The most commonly used bunshinjutsu use only chakra to create the clone. After these, bunshinjutsu that use a medium seem to be most common. These bunshinjutsu use various elements to give the clone form and substance. There are also bunshinjutsu that transform another person or animal into a clone of the user. Finally, there are bunshinjutsu that make use of Genjutsu to create illusionary clones.

Fuinjutsu

Fūinjutsu (封印術, Sealing Techniques) are a type of jutsu that seal objects, living beings, chakra, along with a wide variety of other things within another object.

Dojutsu

Dōjutsu (瞳術; Literally meaning "Eye Technique") are genetic ninja abilities that utilize the eyes, enabling them to perceive chakra in some form or another. Being a by-product of specific kekkei genkai, dōjutsu are not classified as one of the major jutsu types. They do not require the use of hand seals and sometimes facilitate in the use or defense against genjutsu, taijutsu and ninjutsu and then defeat his or her opponent. All known dōjutsu also provide the user with some otherwise incapable ability, such as an extended field of vision or predictive capabilities. The use of Dōjutsu consumes chakra.

Chatbox and Spamming Rules

The Chatbox is located at the bottom (we are working on getting it on both the top and bottom) of the forum page, and it is located on the bottom of the portal, and it is one of the best features on this site, it allows us, the users, to communicate really fast and get finished with topics and plot really fast. However some people do not understand the rules on it as well as the fact that people are made moderators for a reason.

  • Moderators have the right to kick users as a warning.
  • ----------Moderators cannot immediately ban users without atleast one kick
  • Spamming will not be tolerated, spamming will result in an immediate ban/kick in the chatbox
  • Advertising is not allowed in the chatbox, at all. Immediate ban
  • Administrators do not need to warn, you will get banned.

Thats pretty much it for the chatbox rules. Swearing is allowed

Spamming

Spamming is not allowed and any instance of it you will receive a warning, and then a ban if you ignore your warning. PMing people with a link to your site without a reason is not allowed and I encourage any members to report this kind of actions...

That is all for the spamming rules.

The Point System

The Point System is another valuable system in the Role Playing aspect of this site. Point Systems are used in order for other characters to get a head advantage in the whole game, e.i. more jutsus, higher chakra pools, etc.; The points are referred to as Ryo and can be earned by posting in the IC sections of the board; creating a topic can earn you 4 Ryo and posting earns you 2.

Things can be purchased with Ryo and these things aren't just normal things you can gain by getting ranked up. However, some are less valuable than others, these things are still valuable.

RANK UP 550 RYO
AN S RANKED JUTSU* 250 RYO
HIGHER CHAKRA POOLS** 500 RYO
AN EXTRA SPECIALTY 450 RYO
EXTRA ELEMENT (PLUS 5000 WORD TRAINING) 650 RYO
EXTRA ELEMENT (WITHOUT TRAINING) 1000 RYO
RYO TRANSFERING 10 RYO FOR EVERY 100 RYO TRANSFERED***

*Any rank below Chuunin receives an extra high ranked jutsu meaning Chuunin get an extra A rank, and Genin get an extra B rank
**This just allows you to use more jutsus at once (limit is 4 jutsus normally) this allows you to use up to 6 jutsus and allow you to not run out of chakra as easily.
***If less than 100 RYO is being transfered, 1 RYO will be charge for every 10 RYO transfered.

God Modding, OP, Etc.

OP = Overpowered

Basically, without going into extreme explicit detail. The main rule is "If you have to ask if it is OP, its not allowed." Posting something OP in the creation section will not get you introuble, however if it is extremely OP the topic will be deleted and you will not be allowed to edit it. If reposting is found, you will be yelled at.

Auto hitting is another form of OP, and it will not be tolerated. The autohitter (the one doing the auto hitting) has about 24 hours to edit there post and remove the auto-hit without getting severely beaten. Auto-hitting however has a clause, that may or may not have been aforementioned, and that is "Auto-hitting is allowed if the opponent does not respond within 48 hours).

Metagaming is the most common form of Autohitting. If someone says that something is hidden, or they do it without the other person knowing, unless you can see into the future, or read attacks, there is no possible way for you to deal with it.

If you have any questions about this controversial rule please PM 'Admin' about it.
