| |  | This area marks the entrance to Hidden Mist. A marker for outgoing travelers also announces the paths to outlying foreign villages.
| 0 | 0 | | | This is where fellow villagers and fellow shinobi of Kirigakure and other visiting nations can come to buy food, accessories, books and pretty much anything they desire.
| 0 | 0 | | | This is the Mizukage Tower. The Kage usually spends their time here, signing papers and giving out missions. It is an imposing building, probably very high but that is uncertain, since it is covered by mist, just like the rest of the village.
| 0 | 0 | | | This is the Kirigakure Ninja Academy. The students are trained here by the most capable Shinobi, growing to become the strongest themselves. Few decades ago, in order to graduate from the Academy, the student had to kill the other students. Seeing that this was dramatically decreasing the Shinobi population from the hidden mist village, the council decided to change their exam methods. The brutal nature of the graduation style helps paint a picture of the mindset of the village.

| 0 | 0 | | | This is the Kirigakure Cemetery. Fallen heroes and citizens alike are buried here. Two gravestones, though, are special. Zabuza Momochi and Haku's graves have their own special location, west in the gaveyard. People all over the world visit their graves, because they are fascinated by the Seven Swordsman member's abilities, as well as by the Hyouton user's.
| 0 | 0 | | | | | Genso no Shima is a small island located at the north east of the main island. It has no residents, but it is popular because of the ghost stories that are surrounding it. The island is covered in a white fog which is impossible to see through. The fog also sets the visitors into an illusion, making them live through their worst nightmare. People lose themselves inside the fog and usually die of hunger because of the disorientation. However, the Kiri Ninja know how to escape from the illusions and thus they can travel around the island unaffected. By using Kai, the illusion disperses and the Ninja are able to find the secret research center of Kiri. Medical and normal Ninja alike conduct researches and studies there, from poisons to weapons.
