~*Appearance and Personality

General Appearance: Senki's soft, pink hair falls over her shoulder in waves; covering nearly her entire torso with its length. The locks scatter across her shoulders, the bangs pushed to the sides of her face; creating a sort of pink frame for her heart-shaped face. Her sharp coral eyes scanned over her immediate surroundings with a cold, analytical gaze. She smiles without warmth or happiness, but more likely because she expects that is what others might due when greeting or interacting with another person. Her soft pink lips are usually pulled into the light arc that is her smile, not revealing the perfect, bleach-white pearls that lay behind them. Her skin is pale, her eyes ringed with dark lines; the result of expertly applied make-up. No one knows why she wears make-up in such a society, where one is judged by their strength instead of their appearance, but she does so anyway. At her waist hangs the "other half of her soul", so to speak. It is in the form of what seems to be a hand-and-a-half sword, more commonly known as a bastard sword. The handle itself seems to be carved from stone, the pommel taking the form of a skull, adorned with horns or spikes. The cross guard is the skull of a beast, its horns weaving outward like a goat's, curling around itself. She has a thin, wiry frame, misleading others into assuming she has little to no muscle mass. In reality her muscles are simply compact, hugging tightly against her body. Her stomach is flat, toned, but not overly muscular. Senki has a relatively large bust, though she doesn't typically flaunt it. Snaking, winding, and branching around her shoulders, collar, and breasts is an intricate tattoo involving many strange symbols and runes etched into her skin at youth.
General Clothing: She wears dresses often, usually extravagant ones of varying designs, fabrics, and color schemes. Even more often than that, however, Senki is in the typically akatsuki outfit. She wears the cloak proudly, the polished ring wrapped around her finger with just as much pride. However, Senki prefers not to wear the straw hats that some of her colleagues do; who cares if people recognize her? She can handle her own. Senki is never seen without a belt, no matter what she's wearing, so that she can keep her blade close to her.
Personality: Senki is a quiet, menacing figure. She is always there, but never actually really there. By this I mean that she enjoys hovering behind a crowd or gathering, lurking in the shadows and staring at all of them. She has been known to watch battles closely from the shadows, and swoop in to even the playing field should she find herself bored, or particularly interested in one person becoming the victor. Senki is exactly like what one would expect her to be if they knew the nature of her connection to her blade. She is vicious, and preys on the weak. She will hardly do her own fighting, choosing to use others as pawns and just reap the benefits for herself later. She is often called "a leach" or a "vulture", which is ironically exactly what she is. Senki has no real people skills, or sense of humor, mainly because she never communicates with anyone. When she does have to talk to someone she uses short sentences, direct answers, and body language that lets them know they are not welcome in her presence.

History:
Infancy Arc: Senki leaved a reasonably normal life for a kunoichi. I mean, besides the whole "cult" thing. You see, she was born to an ex-criminal shinobi who had married a kunoichi of the Leaf, and convinced the Hokage to allow him sanctuary within their walls so long as he vowed to never leave them. Should he leave, he would be labeled a criminal once again and be left to survive on his own. Senki lived her infancy as all infants do; crying, sleeping, eating, excreting. You know, the basic stuff. She was, on an abnormal note, blessed under the Gāwèi known as Hagetū. This was done on the first quarter moon after her birth, a time known as Shoyībù; a time when the Gāwèi is said to be closest to the earth, and therefore most capable of blessing a child.

Toddler Arc: Again, this stage of her life was mostly normal. She lived this time without any incidents. She played with the other children, dreamed of being a strong and noble Kunoichi like her mother-she was never told of her father's past, and to her he was only a merchant-
and steeled herself for the day she'd join the academy by participating in games of "Ninja" involving cardboard shuriken with the neighborhood kids. The year before she became a Kunoichi she would follow yet another rite of passage within her cult-like faith-known among outsiders as Ōkuxǔ, and among practitioners as only "The Faith"- which involved a tattoo that sealed her to the Gāwèi of their family. The ritual, which was called Shēngsei by her father, was said to have been the thing that sealed her fate, set her on a path she could not avoid, and assured that her Gāwèi would watch, protect, and guide her along the way.

Academy Arc: The academy years were her only that involved no rites of passage. She went through the school years, studious and quiet as ever; never knowing the things that would happen only half a decade later in her life. These years are crystal clear to Senki, even now, though nothing of importance happened. She learned the arts, codes, and tactics of a Leaf Shinobi, and passed in the top ten within her class. At the night of graduation the three members of her family laid out on a hill and ate sandwiches, while her parents taught her the names of the constellations according to their faith, and the gods they represented.

Genin Arc: As a Genin, at the age of twelve, Senki was placed in a team. This is where she started to notice that something truly was wrong with her. Senki had interacted with people all her life, but never before had she truly had to work side-by-side with others. Even in simple tasks she would forget that her allies were there and go off on her own. In combat she had no sense of pity for her allies or enemies, not caring if either got hurt. She did, however, discover an innate talent for strategy, and utilized it to its fullest potential. Eventually it was agreed that she would stay away from combat unless necessary, and direct her allies, using her keen eyes and quick mind to outmaneuver even the professional shinobi. The Chuunin exams soon followed, just around her fourteenth year of life. Two years as genin and her team were ready to challenge it. They had waited purely so that they could make sure each individual team mate was just as strong as the others. Senki returned home with the great news, and was immediately whisked away to their altar. There she went through with another ritual, involving strange chanting and an expansion of the previous tattoo. Now the strange marks stretched from her right shoulder blade around her upper torso, curving and snaking around her back and coiling over her newly-formed breasts. A ritual declaring her a woman in the eyes of other followers, and truly a confidence booster for the young girl about to take on a whole new set of challenges.

Chuunin Arc: This stage of her life would truly be the worst. She passed the exam with ease, finding it actually boring at certain points, if you can believe that. While she faced many a formidable opponent, few could match her rapier-like wit or her stone-like mercilessness. Three years she served as a Chuunin, perfectly comfortable with the position. Chuunin meant leading team missions, and that meant using Senki's strongest trait to its fullest potential. However, around her seventeenth year, shortly after going through her last rite of passage, upon which she took the family's blade as a sign of taking on Hagetū's work as one of her servants, Konohagakure betrayed them. The Mist came looking for her father, and without batting an eyelash the Hokage tossed him over to them, though he had promised her father safety, and he had always stood by his word to never leave the village. At this point Senki was more than aware of what had happened between them. Bitter and betrayed, Senki swore vengeance not only on the two villages that took her father away from her, but on all villages and their leaders. All of them were corrupt and heartless, nearly as heartless as she was. Senki planned to show them what fear was. She stole away in the middle of the night, and though she could have easily escaped unawares, she slit the throats of two guards with her family's blade and left their bodies to rot.

Escape Arc: Senki spent the next three years as a fugitive. She worked the jobs that most villages had labeled off limits for all but their most secret branches; except instead of doing it for villages, she did the jobs plotted against them. In this position she thwarted multiple village plots, slew uncounted high-ranking shinobi and officials, and even took out one or two noble figureheads. The three years passed in a blur to her, the only time her memory has ever been anything but razor sharp. Honestly she can't say what happened through these years. Most of them were spent training and plotting. However, she can tell you that toward the end of those three years she was found and recruited by none other than the Akatsuki. In the Akatsuki she served under a man even more cruel than her, and with only half as much of a heart. For three years she served him until someone finally bested him. Like the Vulture she served, she hid and waited as he was bested by a village shinobi, and while the shinobi rejoiced in his victory, stabbed the poor man through the skull. With two dead bodies on her hand and a mind full of potential stories, Senki took her old leader's ring and talked her way into the position of leading the Akatsuki. Shortly after doing so, they were each picked off, one-by-one, so that Senki could find more useful replacements.

Instead of using plain chakra or a medium from the surroundings, the user will begin by charging their body with lightning chakra. Then, when they release the technique they will disappear in a flash of lightning. If anyone is near the user when this happens they will be paralyzed for several minutes.

Effect: This technique with a long string of handseals. Then, the user will fire lightning chakra in the form of a lightning bolt up into the sky. While in the sky, it will super heat and compress the air around it, creating more and more lightning as it does so. Then, within two minutes it will crash back down toward the earth, usually being twice as big as it started out at. This lightning will have already had a set course from the beginning, generally the opponent.

Raiton Kage Bunshin no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique that utilizes lightning to create a Kage Bunshin clone. Because it is a Kage Bunshin, the Raiton version shares the ability to interact with the environment due to it having physical substance. This allows the clone to carry out limited attacks on its target. If the Raiton Kage Bunshin is injured, the clone will revert into its natural lightning state. Like in other Lightning Element attacks, should the target come into contact with the electricity, they will be momentarily stunned.

Kasumi Enbu no Jutsu - Mist Waltz Technique

Katon • Kasumi Enbu no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Fire Element. The ninja does a string of hand seals and then proceeds to blow a large combustible mist at the target. When the mist hits flame, it will ignite in an explosion of fire.
